Well-experienced guy. World traveled. Seen it all, done most of it all :-). Not!
There are always new things to learn, new boundaries to push.
Although i don't mind striking up an online friendship, I would rather venture out from the safety of my computer screen and experience life to its fullest. Remember, "nothing ventured, nothing gained..."
There is excitement in stepping out and taking the risk of meeting someone new, especially in this venue. But why are we all here anyway? Well, most of us...
Some are looking for a situation that will help them step out of themselves, become a new person. Others are looking for someone that will make them whole. Yet others, many in fact, just want to have some fun! Try new stuff.
Well, I say, bring on the fun! Pop that champagne, let the music role. Life is too short to waste it brooding and being scared of your shadow. Grab life by its tail and hang on! Best roller coaster ride you could be on.
When it is all said and done, we are all better people, wiser people, for the accumulation of the different experiences we have had, not for the ones that we stayed away from and denied ourselves.
