So sad what has become of the community over the years. I still remember the good old days when CM was about meeting, about interchange. Now it is the place that women with passive/aggressive mood dysregulation and men with maternal resentment issues pretend to be interested in meeting. The online world has become a gold mine for those too disingenuous to sustain in-person relationships--finally a place where it's safe to treat people the way you always wanted to, but weren't able because of social consequences in real life.
What happened? Why are we allowing this? Why have we allowed the yahoo chat room ethic to become our ethic? |
