We offer lies on a whim and no value in return. (That's a twofer. Bargain! Hello!?) Send Us the lives of your sons and daughters to fight in the wars We create and We will make sure they are glorified in Our name. We vow to always have Our own best interests at heart.
We are Congress.
Fear Us for you cannot stop Us. Our cogs, you see, are fungible. Our power to act, illusion but Our power to destroy quite real and if you question US in anyway, We shall make the government fall and tremble. We will not pay for what We buy but We shall spend what We do not have so there is an odd sort of balance there. We promise to sign bills that We will not read and read bills that We will not sign.
We are Congress.
