i was taught to be polite and respect others. Woman were to be treated with the greatest repect. i am proud of my mother for teaching me these values.  At a very young age She taught me another lesson. When a neighborhood bully took my hat and tossed it down the storm sewer, i was sent out from the house with instructions to take the bully on and toss his hat through the grates. Oh did that creep weep.

The final round. The mother of the creep shows up on our fron porch ringing the bell and shouting, "Your son threw my son's hat down the sewer." Cool Ma replies, "I think you are mistaken. Your son attacked my son tossing his hat down the sewer and my son responded in kind."  "Oh" she said turning to her child, "Is that true?"  I did not hear his reply but i did hear a loud thump as her hand impacted his little ass. Then wailing and the the repetitive crisp crack of a hand hitting raw meat. Karma can be sweet.
