Dear Past, Present, and Future Submissives:

Having had some horrendously jinxed experiences as of late I feel the need to clue you in on a few key points that will decide our future. Please take note of the following:

I need an Alpha sub. Excuse the vulgarity but if my balls are bigger than yours I’ll get bored quick. This is why I am usually attracted to men in uniform (police officers, firemen, soldiers). Don’t get me wrong, you don’t need to be a man in uniform to get or keep my attention, it’s the image you portray that counts. There is nothing that entices me more than a vanilla Alpha male who submits. When we’re out in public I need you to present yourself as “the man” in the relationship. Don’t be a push over.

Know the difference between being eager and being needy. Eagerness is flattering. Neediness is tiring. Eagerness: “I can’t wait to see you tonight Domina!” Neediness: “I sent you seven texts in the last 10 minutes but you haven’t answered. I guess you don’t want me anymore.” (True story, and I was in the shower.) 

Don’t come to me as “curious.” To be clear… “curious” is a beautiful and awesome word that can lead to great experiences. But there is a big fat difference between being sincerely curious and using curiosity as an excuse. I’m really tired of hearing “I’m curious about strap on Domina” only to find out that not only is the sub quite adept and experienced in anal play but he really only wants a girl to be attached to the phallus because that means “he’s not gay.” (Another true story, and it’s happened more than once.)

Leave the drama at home. Don’t spend our time together complaining about your crazy ex wife or your bastard boss or your crap job. When we are together your focus should be on me. That’s not to say I don’t want to know what’s going on. I just want our conversations to consist of more than just your complaints. Life can suck, believe me… I know life can suck, but inhale, exhale, and move on. I don’t want to waste my time on someone who can’t see the forest for the trees. Amazing things happen everyday. All you have to do is open your eyes. Besides, I have my own daily crap to deal with. It’s not my job to handle yours.

Be smart. I don’t necessarily mean college degrees, we’ve all taken different paths, but know how to have a conversation. Use proper grammar. Capitalize appropriately. Have your own opinions. I want a thinker, not a yes man.

This is my life, the way I live. Come along for the awesome ride but please don’t make me want to push you out of the car.
