This evening the builder admitted he can't do the work and offered full payment back - He says he will call Me tomorrow at 10am ----- we shall see!!! |

Well I now know the builder is nothing but a f#cking thief!
Found his address though and delivered by hand a notice of contract amendment giving him till this Monday the 16th to start work or I will take proceedings against him.
I hate having to deal with people this way when I have such wonderful hitty implements I would much rather use on him!!!

Good news! The dungeon furniture arrived this morning.
Bad news! Still no schedule for the builder to start work on the cellar conversion.
Still, it's progress in the right direction!!!

Finally spoken to the builder properly, he was out of hospital on Friday evening. The initial work on the walls (tanking) is the most important and he needs to oversee that work. Looks like start of the work will be around the 2nd of September. Fingers crossed!!!

What a pain!!! The blooming builder got knocked off his motorbike over the weekend and is currently in hospital. Luckily he is not too badly hurt but it will delay the start of my cellar conversion!!! |

Just been told by the builder that it should all be done by the end of August. That gives Me the whole of September to furnish and equip!!!! |

Plans are lodged with the local council - I'm told it will be 2 to 3 weeks before I get approval. Can't wait to start works on it. |
