Mum is doing better.? We may have come around the bend and be heading backwards, which is frontwards in dementia world, then we have been going a little sideways...and still she is giving her best.? I had to thank her the other day, for just showing up every time.? How many people do you know who show up EVERY TIME?? They go where they are asked to go, do what they are asked to do, wear what they are asked to wear, look for you in every turn, and depend on you?? I'm blessed.? I know...over exposed, but definately so true! I'm blessed to know a love that alters reality and changes the world around us.? Pure magic and I'm so grateful to be present for these heart wrenching love filled moments.? They ARE what it is all about.? And the self esteem!? The self esteem gained from pouring oneself into the selfless act of giving!? I'm not the best at it, not the worst, and I keep showing up for as long as she does and somehow we make it through.

It feels to me like winter shall be early this year.? The cool of the nights reminds me more of September than July.? The weather has not got me fooled and I'm hustling a bit early this year to prep for the cold which is to come.
