Life teaches us many lessons. Some we learn and carry with us forever, some forgotten too soon to even think of. I've learned a lot in my life, and some things I will carry with me forever-regardless of how long my forever is.
I've met some good and not so swell people here, but always came away with something positive from the experience. Its hard to learn the hard lessons, and that's something I've never really learned until now. I've tried to ride this journey out looking on the bright side, but I have to face reality now, so that is why I am changing my profile. I'm not the same person I was a mere few months ago, and leaving up a false profile isn't something I want to do.
I have been diagnosed with cancer, and there is nothing more for me to do but wait now. Funny for awhile CM was my escape. I kept hoping things would look up, and didn't want to change my profile for fear of facing the truth. But I'm to the point that I must, and even though I don't want to I have face the reality of life and its lessons.
To those I have met here, thanks for the talks and laughs. For those I didn't, you don't know what you missed lol
