I act goofy all the time, but I never compromise my ideals as a "gentleman". (whatever the hell that means in the Contemporary US) I think it has something to do with respecting others as you respect yourself.
I went to college to become a Geopolitical Strategist. Then I kinda realized it went against my sense of morality.
Thusly, I know a disproportionate amount about the political economy of East Asia, and the structure of supra-national NGOs. And I speak Japanese at a conversationally fluent level, as I've been studying on and off for 16 years. (don't ask me to read the newspaper, though)
