Phew!  What a week end! The demo at VE was fabulous!!  Well I certainly enjoyed it!  *wink*  In the week running up to it I had to stop myself from putting holes in cerbie, so that his skin would be nice and fresh!  I did needles with feathers, a staple corset, and predicament bondage using staples and ribbon.  The bondage sent cerbie off into a nice fluffy place *Big grin*. One of the reasons I love doing demos is that I love introducing new things to people, giving them a chance to experience something for the first time in a controlled, safe environment.  To see the fears dispelled, to see people try something they once were unsure of, to see the light of interest in their eyes, to know that they will leave with some knowledge of how to do something safely, and may even give them the impotus to go off and learn more, all of those things, and many more, are the reasons that I love doing demos. The night was fun, lots of laughter, good music (though some promised musical accompaniment, I believe will wait until a little later *Grin*), and fabulous company. BV

So, tomorrow night is one of the regular club nights that we run, Velvet Eden (VE).  It's a really good, fun, night, filled with chatter, laughter, fun and the gorgeous sounds of thwacks as various instruments, or hands, find their targets...followed by the deep sighs of the recipients!  Mmmm I love those sounds! VE is kind of unique in that it is a normal play night except for the demo or workshop half way through the night.  We've covered so many topics, from floggers, canes, fisting, anal play, chastity and CBT, through to finding a partner in the scene, and cross dressing (and everything that you can imagine in between!).  Tomorrow night's demo is one I'm really looking forward to doing, it's on Needleplay and medical staples Mmmmmmmmm yummy!  It's a popular demo, and at the end, we offer people the chance to feel what these things are like.  Needles often surprise people, they seldom feel the way that you would expect them to.  Staples are a little less refined, but quicker, and safer if you are doing a corset for example, as there is little chance of anyone else getting stuck by a wayward needle! And in a public environment that's a biggie! I'm just sooooo looking forward to it!!  *big Grin*  So, if you are in or near the Midlands, why don't you pop along?  You may just enjoy yourselves! ; )
