About BibleDom

Let’s face it, the concept of submissive women with a powerful, loving dominant man is totally Bible based.

Having trouble finding contentment and a powerful Dom? Try looking to the Bible. Try looking for a Bible believing Dom like myself. Here is some of what the Bible says, and what you would expect under my roof:

--------------

Genesis 3: 16. To the woman he said, "…. …. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

1 Corinthians 14: 32 …. …. As in all the congregations of the saints, 34. women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Numbers 30:6. "…. .... 7. and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her, then her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. 8. But if her husband forbids her when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself, and the LORD will release her. …. …. 10. "If a woman living with her husband makes a vow or obligates herself by a pledge under oath 11. and her husband hears about it but says nothing to her and does not forbid her, then all her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. 12. But if her husband nullifies them when he hears about them, then none of the vows or pledges that came from her lips will stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will release her. 13. Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow she makes or any sworn pledge to deny herself. 14. But if her husband says nothing to her about it from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or the pledges binding on her. He confirms them by saying nothing to her when he hears about them. 15. If, however, he nullifies them some time after he hears about them, then he is responsible for her guilt."

Colossians 3: 18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Ephesians 5: 22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. …. …. 33. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Titus 2: 4. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5. to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. 6. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

1 Corinthians 11: 3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. …. …. 6. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9. neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

1 Peter 3: 1 Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2. when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 5. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6. like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Proverbs 31: 10. A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. 14. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. 16. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. 17. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. 18. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. 19. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 23. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." 30. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. 31. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
