About BellaPaura
NOTE: If you are MARRIED, LIVING WITH SOMEONE, or are otherwise in a RELATIONSHIP, move along. While you may wish to justify yourself that she just doesn't understand you or can't give you what you need or is on her death bed and you need a companion (believe me, I've heard it all), trust me... I'm not interested in your adulterous intent. At all. I refuse to be someone's dirty little secret and play second to no one. I've been doing a lot of thinking and am wondering what it is about this thing called control. I consider the idea of someone dominating me and I find myself wanting to remain in control. Fear maybe? I don’t know. I've been independent and capable for so long that I don't know if I have it in me to submit to someone else. Maybe that’s just the walls I’ve built to strengthen myself over the years. There is so much assertiveness in my own personality that I refuse to squelch; many men, rather than find that exciting or challenging, consider it intimidating to their own fragile egos. I’ve even had “dominants” tell me that this very idea isn’t submissive because they want my eager submission from the word “go”. So, maybe submission is just a fantasy, that desire to let go ever so often to someone else... I guess I'll just know it when I see it, the “rightness” I seek, should He ever present himself in my life. However…I'm a strong-willed, intelligent woman seeking my Alpha. Someone who won't allow me to take over the relationship, who shows his protective, virile role without being domineering or obnoxious. Someone comfortable enough in his own skin that my strength doesn't intimidate or overwhelm him. Someone who allows me to be strong, but gives me the freedom to submit to him and him alone. If you choose to correspond: *Respect is given if it's received. *Writing "nice profile", "hi" or something equally unoriginal and expecting a response won't happen. The same thing goes with your telling me all about how you seek someone to take care of you and treat you right, without sharing what you would offer in return. This type of communique is not appealing for me. Tell me why you're writing, what you seek and who you are! Sapiosexuality is a huge turn-on for me! So writing with intelligence and class is also appealing. If this doesn't resonate with you, please, just move along. Good luck in your search. |

So... I just received a message from some guy that basically said that because his pic looked normal, he doubted he'd receive a response. I wrote back and said that while I haven't viewed his profile, his name alone told me I wasn't interested. His response was that his name was created fictitiously for "Gore" (sic...yes, he misspelled Gor). I then looked at his profile, and again, saw that I had no interest. Again, he said it was fictional.
Of course, I responded, said that way too many people make fictional profiles to dishonestly play although I found it odd that he'd admit it up front. But dishonesty is dishonesty. And I've had enough of that, thank you very much.
Apparently he fashions himself an erotica writer and thinks this site is for creating fiction, not actually meeting people. And by the way, for those who are reading this, he said to me something to the effect (can't recall the exact words as I have deleted his emails) that you can't "really" be a slave. So while I'm not a slave, I DO recognize some live like that. It made me realize he must equate this site to some sort of Second Life. In short, not reality. (Yes, yes, I am aware of all the players on here, the married asses who are cheating on their spouses, those who have profiles only for you to send them money or view their cams, but as you're all aware, there are some on here who use this site as a kinky personals site.)
Rather than admit to his own actions, he said that my apparent past experiences on here were preventing me from speaking with him further. He wrote to me because my profile seemed real (his words) and doesn't understand that I wouldn't be interested in him because his profile isn't? Dude, if you're reading this? It wouldn't matter if I only met ONE dishonest person. Whatever your motivation is, it's not to use this site as a personals site. Therefore, you have nothing I want. Not even conversation. And if my "past experiences" were a barrier, I'd simply take down my profile. As it is, I've met some great people on here and continue to use this site as a way to chat with them.
~shakes head~ Some people really ARE dumber than a box of rocks.
I've thought of posting his name as a 'consumer beware', but he outed himself in quick fashion so I doubt others will fail to see through him rather easily as well.

Just saw this quote on another site. I love it:
"To have someone give you control of their bodies and minds, to be entrusted with the responsibility to take care of them, to have someone willing to suffer for you, to forsake pride and dignity to please you... what other gift in this world can possibility equate to that? And more importantly, what makes you worthy to receive it?" ~ Author Unknown |

Okay, for those who've read my profile, you may 'get' that I'm a stickler for grammar. I'm an editor in one of my jobs!
So for those who can't seem to understand this, let me enlighten you:
DominATE is a VERB
DominANT is a NOUN
One cannot be A DOMINATE. One can, however, be a DOMINANT.
I can't seem to take people seriously when they can't tell the difference between the two. Yes, that makes me a grammar snob. I've been one for years. C'est tres importante pour moi. |

I saw this on another's profile and thought to copy it for myself (I hope he doesn't mind!)... I remember reading Marlene's quote in the past and recall its affect on me then:
To be completely woman you need a master, and in him a compass for your life. You need a man you can look up to and respect. If you dethrone him it's no wonder that you are discontented, and discontented women are not loved for long.

I was reading the most interesting story today and in it there was the concept that many submissives are yearning for acceptance, to be treated as priorities, to be treated as a treasure. It stemmed from the idea that many have had previous broken relationships where they weren't treated with care, as a priority, they didn't feel protected and loved. It reiterated a couple of times that it wasn't akin to being desperate or a doormat where they'd do anything to be accepted, but rather that they were strong on the outside, vulnerable on the inside and craved a strong hand to place them at the center of their focus and make them feel a sense of belongingness. It really resonated with me and it got me thinking... |
