I am considering relocating now.
Ok...I know men have asked this for years. But I wasn't willing to go there then. Real life things have changed.
What I don't want is a high paced city life (NYC for example). I could be close enough to visit in a city now and then. I would rather live in a house than a high rise apartment.
Probably the deciding factor is weather. I find our high 80s are miserable for me...too hot. I could not tolerate summers that are super hot and/or humid (FL).
I currently own a big house....and don't want to move to a teeny tiny cramped space. Well, I would likely need to rent storage space there if not some extra available space for me (closets, office space, room in bathroom for women stuff, etc.)
I suppose snowbirding is possible...if there is enough funds to comfortably do so. I have some independent income...but not enough to maintain 2 households.
