I've found that perhaps my first journal entry might have given an image of my "lifestyle" beliefs that are not necessarilaly accurate. When I mentioned "leatherface" I meant that in the context of the leather, zippered hoods some people prefer in controlling their slaves/subs. Like the in Pulp Fiction movie, the character known as "the gimp". I'm not really interested in that extent of the lifestyle.
Now in regards to the Hell Raiser comment, I was relating that to those who are into the torture/pain aspects of the lifestyle. I suppose that these people are on the fringes of the life and being new I wanted to ensure that I wasn't into those aspects.
I relate my "home" dom as being more like the 50's home...where dad rules the roost. Sorry, its just my personality. But in the lifestyle, while I'm still growing...my initial interests are more along the lines of daddy roleplaying with the naughty girl, who might need a spanking to correct her behavior.
I realize that it might be the true BDSM experience, but its where I'm at for now as I learn more I'm sure that will change. Oh...I'm also working on my knot tying.... |

11/12/07 I've had my "profile" posted for about a week now. I wasn't really sure what to say or how to state what I was looking for, but I went with what I have because it felt the closest to it. I've received one response and it sounded more like a form letter than anything. Browsed a few profiles of subs and slaves local to me. I had found one that was really close and seemed like might be attune to what I was looking for. I dropped her a note but have yet to hear a response.
Being new at the BDSM lifestyle I'm not really sure how Dom I'm expected to expose. I'm not into the leatherface or hell raiser type of stuff. But I know that in my relationships I've shown myself to be the dom, so might as well try to find someone who realizes that and is ok with it. I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. |
