My objectives and wants have changed slightly.
Hello. I identify more as pansexual than bisexual. Currently, I am seeking friends of any and all genders/orientations. Local friends are preferred, but long distance friends are still welcome. I lack kinky friends and am interested in genuine people who respect my lifestyle and who I am. What I am seeking for is listed as "Strictly platonic/ friends only" but I am open to getting involved on a level beyond that if there is mutual chemistry and interest developed. It is easy to find a partner, but more difficult to find one with a good emotional connection.
I would feel most comfortable if we began by chatting online for awhile before transitioning to talks on the phone, then meeting in person. It may seem like a lengthy process, but I want to get a feel for what you're like before we actually meet.
I have a tendency to get very anxious in social situations, so first encounters may take awhile for me to adjust to.
I must disclose that I am a social drinker. I understand that this is important for some people to know. Alcoholic beverages (especially wine) are preferred but not required. I am fine with a nice cold glass of water.
I tend to be extremely shy when I first meet people, so please don't take it personally if I seem tense or inhibited upon our first few meetings. It may take awhile for me to be completely comfortable expressing myself and letting my true personality shine. Do not take my shyness as a weakness; I am an introvert.
I giggle often and smile excessively.
Although I live in Yeadon/Lansdowne now, I am still very much interested in exploring more of Philadelphia's dining establishments, events, functions, landmarks and attractions. It would be nice to have a friend to hang out and explore the city with occasionally.
Going out often is not an essential, but it is nice to be able to take in nature or the city scape every now and then. I am also comfortable with winding down with you watching films, a series, or sharing a homemade meal with you as long as you are not a serial killer.
I am not a difficult person to please. I am fine with simply hanging out at a park or museum or a place where fees are not mandatory.
My knowledge of the world is limited, then again, whose isn't? We'll never fully know all of the secrets of the world, the universe and life itself. I am open to being educated and learning about your passions and almost anything you can teach me. If there is anything I can teach you in return, I am more than delighted to. I am very passionate about animals and know a thing or two about wildlife, but I do not know everything. I am currently learning about invertebrates and arachnids, so that is a current primary interest of mine.
I enjoy going to reptile conventions; I went to my first one awhile ago and plan on attending more. If you are interested or curious, we might even bump into each other at one!
Some topics of conversation I enjoy discussing are films and video games. I have much to catch up on as far as current TV series, but I have seen a larger share of films, notably horror. In regards to video games, I primarily enjoy roleplaying games especially the Japanese ones, simulators, sidescrollers, hack and slashers, sandbox, open world games, and co op. I am not too keen on shooters, although I do thoroughly enjoy games such as the Mass Effect and Borderlands series.

I do not enjoy speaking about work or my occupation, so I would prefer if you would kindly refrain from inquiring about that. Fairly so, I will not ask you about your occupation, unless it is relevant to the conversation or you freely discuss it.
