I'm new to the scene - I always thought of myself as vanilla, though I was both fascinated by and completely outraged by the dominance portrayed in novels like Gor or Simon Green's books (though I did love Exit to Eden, it was the first thing I read that made BDSM understanble to me.).
But I guess having fantasies about being bound, flogged, fucked and dominated and being pretty much unable to come without those fantasies was a hint I should have paid attention to. I have a partner who is my Dom, and only somewhat more experienced than I, but we're not monogamous.
