The Basics

Life has thrown me many curve balls. I've been knocked off my feet and stomped into the ground. People have walked away and never looked back. But, that's life. Although I may not always like the cards I have been dealt, I wouldn't change them for the world. It's because of the hardships I have faced, I am who I am, not because I had someone holding my hand every step of the way.
I'm a very intellectual person. I love reading books that challenge the senses and can be very thought-provoking. You know, the kind of book that will make you question what you had originally thought about that subject. I also enjoy books about mythological creatures (e.g. Vampires, Werewolves, Elves, Fairies, Pixies, etc.) I am also a wee bit of a grammar Nazi... (So, if you cannot use spell check or proper grammar, punctuation, or sentence structure, Fuck off!=D)
I am a very upbeat person. I am usually smiling, even if I'm unhappy underneath it all. I am quite positive, and negativity disgusts the hell out of me. I can't stand being around those who have nothing positive to say. Granted, I do consider myself a realist, but only in the sense that I consider both sides. I hope for the best, and prepare for the worst. I exude positivity to the best of my ability, for at one point in time, that positivity did not exist. I'm making up for all the positivity I had lost, but now have found. I have a wide span of interests, so it's very possible we will have something in common.
