I'm working on concisely listing my pre-requisites and preferences. It's complicated because so much of it depends on the individual relationship. Here's a quick overview.
I primarily enjoy the following things:
- A set of physical sensations that I'll list at another time
- Control over another human being
- Facilitating others' personal journeys and exploration of themselves.
As such, I tend to require my submissives/pets/children to allow me to place them in one of these areas. It's helpful when potential submissives already have some understanding of who they are and what they need, but it's not necessary.
I require trust, honesty and genuine effort from my submissives. For most of my submissives I also require regular STI testing.
Additionally, I enjoy being spoiled & pampered. This is not required of everyone, but when it is, it takes different forms - usually providing physical service or gifts. In any case, it is a highly individualized arrangement.

Long time no post. Since my last post, I've been to both Dark Odyssey Leather Retreat and Dark Odyssey Summer Camp. I did knife play, flogging, stungun, rope suspension, fisting, cupping, wax play and needles - all as a bottom.
I also went to rope 101, flogging 101 & basic caning classes. The idea was to start building skills for service topping. But I really enjoyed it. It turns out I'm something of a switch.

Why do you play? I've been thinking a lot about it. There are many reasons, and each time I play I don't necessarily have the same motivation as the last time. Sometimes I play for the endorphin rush. Sometimes I play for the catharsis. Sometimes I play for the way a deep, thuddy beating releases all the tension from my muscles. Winter Fire was amazing! I met fantastic people and I had 3 scenes; I was introduced to fisting, knife play and the sawzall.
I also attended the workshop on fucking machines - that was hot... really hot.
The event was extremely well-organized. The presenter line up, the logistics, the atmosphere - it was all pitch-perfect. I'm looking forward to camp now!
