I am looking for someone special to spend time with, to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with and to create new adventures and great memories with. Someone who can become my best friend and soulmate. From there we can laugh, love and share a great life. Shared interests, a great smile, a good sense of humor, lots of energy and an adventurous nature are a plus. She should want romance in her life and enjoy holding hands, getting flowers, evening walks on the beach, and lots of cuddling. She should be a hopeless romantic and want to live each day to its fullest. Chemistry and appearance are important. I love about all activities on or in the water and enjoy boats, beaches, kayaking, scuba, hiking, the mountains in the fall, nature, movies, museums, lighthouses, reading, playing scrabble or other board games, travel, eating out, coffee, a good wine, music, fishing, conversation, photography, theater, bookstores, fishing, weekend escapes, art, dancing in the kitchen or about anywhere, road trips, cuddling on the couch or taking a walk and just holding hands. My favorite times are on the water but I am equally comfortable going out for dinner and a show, pretty much anywhere I can enjoy time with someone special. I dress up pretty good too. For toys, I enjoy my boat, kayak, bicycle, SUV and Mustang convertible. For travel, islands, beaches and coastal towns are my favorite. Bermuda is my favorite island or any I can take my boat to or charter one at. My most recent big vacations were to Italy, Iceland and Southeastern Alaska. Next up are Baja, the Galapagos and maybe a transatlantic on the QM2 or a charter in the Carribean. Sometimes I just love throwing tennis balls for my yellow lab to retrieve or taking him for a walk on the beach. For work, I do strategic planning for a large defense contractor in shipbuilding. I enjoy my work and the people I work with. Early in life, I worked on fishing boats and exploration ships in Alaska and loved that also. There is always a maritime, ships and the sea element to my work. I hope you are the one.
