I finally, FINALLY, finally got to meet a fellow Kinkster in the Maine Kink community, and I have to say it was a WONDERFUL experience. Instructive, informative, and just pleasant all around. I broke through the " barrier " and hopefully other people will come knocking at my door and say " Hey! Wanna be friends?! " ( or something like that :) ) .
I learned a bit, not a lot, but just a bit, but im raring to learn some more. Currently im going to look for any munches being run in Maine; not the super size ones with huge crows of people, but something a little bit more modest, smaller crowd, etc etc. Im at the tip of the iceberg; im ready with my ice pick and start chipping away at the Kink community and hopefully become a fellow Kink myself. |

Okay this is my first journal entry on collarme.com, and unfortunately its going to be a rant and rave on my part. For someone who loves the lifestyle as much as I do, its been a terribly frustrating experience for me. I understand the issue of trust and all that, ( and believe me i do indeed!! ), but sometimes it can be a little bit tough for those who are unable to attend Munches and such, like me, to get to know other people. People are wary and tend not to trust others on the internet, and indeed i realize and understand this. But when it comes to not even answering messages from others or just answering with curt responses? I am far from giving up on it, but it can be a very trying experience to even taste what Real Time BDSM can offer to someone like me. Perhaps someone can give me a chance, and realize that not everyone on the internet are wierdos. Ahh well.. :/ |
