This discussion group has just started for people who identify as a switch or are curious about what we discuss. Each month well be tackeling a few topics that hopefully will challenge us and educate the community at large on what we are all about.
Our group is located in the South Bay in Northern California. We welcome all ages, races and orientations to come out and discuss pertinant topics related to the switch experience.

Hogties are Sexy! In this class, we’ll explore several different types of chest harness and hogties. We’ll practice different places to attach rope for the hog ties, different floor positions, how to move rope around on your bottom, and how to move your bottom around in and out the rope.

Janice Stine is many things to many people: Ms. J, Mistress Mary Poppins, A toaster, a chew toy. The list goes on. If you try to put her in a box, she'll deconstruct it, color it with glitter pens, and turn it into something unexpected. Kink just happens to be an outlet where her creativity and love of the absurd can be channeled. For Janice, the conventions of the scene are not hard and fast rules, but rather tools that she can mold and use to create something that is all her own. She identifies less as an educator and more as an avid learner, who will happily share whatever skills and lessons she acquires on her journey, so that others may carve out their own path. In her experience, BDSM is all about individuals enjoying and taking charge of their own sexual preference, not trying to fit themselves into predefined roles.

Partial Suspension: For this Knotty Sunday Tom Wood will show you how to incorporate vertical lines into your scenes. Techniques shown will allow you to increase the severity and complexity of your ties to enhance the experience for both tops and bottoms alike. This is a good introduction to suspension basics for those planning to add suspension to their repertoire.
The class is open to all. If you have a practice partner, bring them along, if you don't, come anyway--we'll find a way for everyone to get
practice.

Tom Wood has two major fetishes: bondage and high heels. He uses a variety of materials in his bondage, but really appreciates the flexibility of rope. He has been handling rope for over 25 years. He originally learned to handle rope in the Boy Scouts of America, and later used that expertise during his dates. Over 15 years ago Tom discovered the scene and has been developing and refining his distinct bondage and suspension techniques ever since. Over the years he has applied his technique to suspensions at construction sites, in elevator shafts, at many a play party, and many other locations. He just loves looking at a bound, high heeled lady. Tom is a member of the Society of Janus. He has taught for Janus, SmOdyssey, BondageLessons, Thunder in the Mountains, and several other groups. He's been a co-host of Knotty Sunday since it's inception in November 2008. Most often Tom provides impromptu classes just after a scene. Observers simply walk up and ask questions. He is fond of providing instruction about rope, from basic bondage to advanced suspensions. It is extremely gratifying to him to later see those individuals performing successful bondage scenes of their own. |

Fundamentals of Rope Bondage Does seeing a beautifully bound person get you hot? Would you like to have the skills necessary to do that yourself? Tom will be presenting the Fundamentals of Rope Bondage at the next Knotty Sunday. Put your bondage skills on a firm foundation for growth by learning the fundamentals behind effective bondage with rope. When you leave the class you will have the fundamental skills necessary to have a great rope scene, and you'll be in a great position to enhance your skills with further practice. Those of you that have some rope expertise already may enjoy the refresher, and of course, there will be the opportunity to meet others who are into rope.

In the Knotty Sunday on August 2nd, Tom Wood will show a variety of metal bits and pieces and how to incorporate them into your rope bondage. We'll take a look at Nipple Clamps, Nose Hooks, Wrist Cuffs, Spreader Bars, and Ass Hooks. Using these bits in a fun, adjustible way that respects safety can be a bit challenging. You'll learn and practice variety of techniques to accomplish exactly that. Some of the equipment may even be for sale after the class.

This June TomFoolery is hosting the Knotty Sunday rope workshop. If you like to have some pain in your scenes, rope skills can be very useful. In this Knotty Sunday workshop we will show you how to incorporate rope into scenes that involve pain. Rope can be used to immobilize someone so you can use your favorite toys on them. Rope enhances pleasure and pain. Rope can be used to get at pressure points for some excruciating sensations. Rope and string also make the perfect companion for clothes pins and clamps. In this Knotty Sunday workshop we will show you how to incorporate rope into scenes that involve pain. Rope can be used to immobilize someone so you can use your favorite toys on them.
