About Abman2

I was first introduced to the D/s lifestyle back in the 1960's before the Internet. The only way to meet likeminded people was to go to places where they got together. Dominants did not approach slaves, slaves went to Dominants and indicated their interest in being considered. Here on Collar Me, that practice somehow seems to have been reversed. Dominants approaching slaves? How bizarre. I have read many slave profiles where they speak of Dominants sending messages reading "On your knees...." etc. That sort of thing never happened before the Internet. I have never known a true Dominant who would say such a thing. Conversely, slaves are now advising Dominants on the protocol for contacting them. Masters do not audition for slaves, slaves audition for Masters. A slave who is attracted to a Dom should write, approach, or otherwise communicate their interest to the Dominant and await a reply. That would eliminate the practice of dozens of wannabe Doms assaulting new slaves with "Want to be my bitch" emails. Anyone posting a profile on this website should state clearly what they are seeking. Slaves committed to this lifestyle are not brought & sold, they are drawn to it. Not only is the practice of buying & selling slaves illegal, it is incomprehensible to anyone who truly appreciates this lifestyle. Our slaves volunteer, the other kind of slave were all freed by The Emancipation Proclamation. A Dominant should be approached by a slave/sub, not the other way around. If you are concerned about approaching me, know that I give anyone permission to contact me, as long as they are polite.

Both a Dominant, or a slave/sub are free to walk away from the lifestyle and a relationship. If you think I am wrong about this, run it by a lawyer and see what they say.

So, if you are interested in me for your Master, let me know. I will not ignore you and make a journal entry stating that I have received too many offers to reply. We can discuss our mutual needs and see if we both want to take it farther, or not. But rudeness will not be tolerated. I treat everyone with respect & expect the same in return. If you are into humiliation, we will make clear when it is playtime, but respect is absolutely required in any kind of relationship. Also note that I will have nothing to do with any activities involving children.

I'm a retired woodworker & musician. I also worked as a police officer and served my country as a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army. I make nice things out of wood (see my pics) and play music on guitar, banjo & other stringed instruments. I am also a certified massage therapist. I have been involved in the D/s lifestyle since 1967. I am single and looking for one slave only.

I will not seek you....... You must find me.

Yes, there certainly are a lot of jerks on this website. But then, I went to the grocery store yesterday and thought I had accidentally walked in on a convention of jerks. Snooty employees, people behaving as though stupidity were a virtue. The problem is, simply put, there are way too many people. Not just on this website, but in the whole world. The problem isn't only global warming, It's overpopulation. A couple of reasonably intelligent people get together and you get good ideas. Put 20, or 30 smart people together and you will have a huge argument over who gets to talk first. So try to ignore the jerks and trust that sooner, or later, you will find the right person for you.

Opening a profile on Collar Me and then complaining about all the people "hitting on you" is like moving to Seattle and then bitching about the rain

I have been into this lifestyle since 1966. Way before the internet. When you had to travel great distances to hook up with likeminded people. Civility & politeness were very much a part of the lifestyle and everyone treated each other with respect. Some of the language that is used on this site was unheard of. And the practice of Dominants approaching slaves was inconceivable. The slave surrenders his, or herself to the Dominant so the approach was always made by the slave. The very idea of Dominants auditioning for a slaves attention is ludicrous. Males approach females in the Vanilla world, but not in the world of Dominance & submission, or Master/slave. It appears that protocol has been swallowed up by the internet and most of the people on this site have lost their way. Sex is part of the lifestyle, but not the driving force. It is totally understandable that people want to hook up for sexual reasons, but using the D/s, or M/s lifestyle to do this is highly inappropriate.
