On the subject of flogging. I am not a pain slut. By any stretch of the imagination. But a good session, a good flogging, some sensation play...it's such a huge release for me. An emotional one. When He is with me, I usually end up in tears, feeling so free of all the stress and built up emotions, the day to day crap. I can just relax and be me. Be a better me, a more real me.

I was recently reading a copy of an article written by Diane Vera online. It was titled The 9 Levels of Submission. Google the title if you're interested. Anyway, I found it intriguing at the different levels of submission the writer came up with. In another forum, someone asked how to be submissive, outside of the bedroom. This got me thinking.
Submission for me is all about the things I do, outside of the bedroom, as much as within it. Recently Sir and I were doing yardwork. He was working as hard, if not harder than I was. There were no specific orders for me. It was a job that needed to be done. We'd had several errands to run, including a trip to our local Dom Depot for bricks. He loaded the bricks into the truck while I went in to exchange a board we'd bought. When I came back out he was securing the load. I got into the cab of the truck and as he got in, I handed him his bottle of powerade, lid unscrewed.
I count the little things as service. Handing my Sir a cool drink when he's been working hard. Preparing him a meal for when he gets off work. Giving him a massage, even when it's been a relaxed day. Submission is found in the little things that one does for their Dominant. It's a little unrealistic to wander around naked all day, waiting to be used and/or abused.
I suppose I come in somewhere around Level 7, according to the article. The Part Time Consensual , But Real Slave. I have to devote my time to other commitments, my job, the house, my parents...etc. But at the same time I want to please my Sir in all aspects of life, practical/non-erotic and fun/erotic. My freetime is devoted first to him, lol, and mowing the lawn.

I have discovered I like fireplay. This past weekend, at the club, I was lucky to be the recipient of a Master from the Austin area. I've never tried fireplay before, something illiogical about wanting to turn one's self into subbie BBQ, but I have to admit, I loved every minute of it.
