Our names are Stephen and Shey. I am English and am from Bristol, and Shey is an American, originally from Iowa and now living in Spain. I will spend typically 6-8 weeks at a time in Spain, then return to England for a fortnight or so, and in the summer Shey spends some time with me in "sunny" England. In all, we live more than 3/4 of our lives together, most of it on the coast near Jerez.
We are looking for another girl to join us in our relationship, initially on an occasional basis, with a view to becoming our full-time live-in girl in the future. And finally, our gorgeous kitty Sylvester passed away recently. We're taking some time to let this trauma settle a little, but then we intend opening our door and letting another lonely kitty find us, so anyone with a cat allergy is going to have problems!
Another point I thought I might stress... Although we are very much into ageplay, we do NOT indulge in infantilism! No nappies/diapers in this relationship.
We recognise that we are looking for a girl of many talents. We also realise that we may never find all the talents we seek in just one girl. We want it all... Christmas is always a slightly awkward time of year. I am a lifelong atheist: even as a child in school nativity plays I can recall thinking it was a lot of fairytale nonsense. Shey on the other hand, whilst she doesn't follow any formal religion, is a believer.
For a couple of years now she's been asking if we can have a nativity scene. This has put me in a slight quandary, but she is a good girl and she doesn't want anything grandiose so this year I decided she could have one.
The Chinese shops here are the equivalent of pound shops in England, and they sell ready-made nativity scenes by the hundreds. Most are pretty ropey, but a few are quite decent. However I decided that I was going to make one myself. This was a bit of a last-minute decision, giving me about a week before the big day, but I felt I should be able to make a decent job of it in that time. I now have three days left, and progress has been fair so far.
We went to Sevilla for a couple of days just to look around the shops. Outside the cathedral were a couple of dozen stalls selling nativity models - everything you could want from figures to trees to furniture to model pots and pans. We'd already bought a set of figures, but the angel was a bit disappointing so we were looking for a special angel to go on our scene. We hunted high and low and eventually lighted on one we both instantly liked. Cast resin, very nicely painted, about 4" tall.
The figures we already have are about 2" tall and also decently painted. The comprehensive set of 14 figures plus animals had cost the princely sum of €10 from the Spanish equivalent of B&Q. This single angel, being sold in the shadow of the cathedral, was priced at €71. We both had a sharp intake of breath and I, in my irreverent way, remembering the incident with the moneylenders, wondered what Jesus would have thought. But then, the Catholic church in particular has always been a money-grubbing institution so I supposed the stallholders thought they were just carrying on the established tradition.
We eventually found an almost-as-good angel for a far more reasonable sum, and brought her home with us. Although I won't have time to make the nativity scene everything it could be, work continues apace...
