To all sub's that may contact me in the future: be cear and honest in our initial conversations about what it is you seek and your limitations, etc. It will eliminate wasted time and effort, and allow me to expend my energies to those more deserving.
Too often I've found substantive incongruencies between a sub's profile or professed longings and what they're actually willing to do real time. I'm not talking about a sub being problematic or rebellious, which any true Master can and should snuff out ...it's the disengenuous, sometimes hypocritical, rendering of themselves that's the subject at hand.
Although said in a different context, I'm reminded of Tiki Barber's recent quip: "I can say nothing, which is cowardly; I can lie, which is immoral; or I can tell the truth, which will upset (some) people."
My advice: tell the truth, regardless ...you just might find what you're looking for.

Since last summer, I have purposefully taken a lost soul under my wings and tried to guide her to the place where she needs to be ...to that place where her life's journey is taking her. Although I've known her for several years without this new dynamic, I could readily detect from the onset a certain unease within herself, her psyche and self-awareness. It rapidly became apparent that the key missing piece was a dominant and constant male infuence in her life, and after some concerted effort to teach and stimulate her self analysis on my part, she's responded in the past month in a way that I've recently thought was not going to be possible with her. Truthfully, she has quite a way to go, but I can now see that she is on her path and she has chosen to let me walk her through as much (or all) as I can. I have missed this training aspect the past few years but have found myself newly stimulated as a Dominant through her. I will probably post of her progression in the coming months, both via entries and pics. A Master, if he is indeed wise, does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind. -- Kahlil Gibran |

True Masters, beyond their innate dominant sense, have learned to learn from others and must continue to do so. One Master that took me under wing, even as a monk mentors a disciple, used to say that there are three s archetypes: a poor s that utilizes a Master's influence, a fair s that admires a Master's dominance, and a good s that grows strong under a Master's discipline.
He also used to say that the first type merely hang on to a Master, the second can maintain a Master's temporal reality, but the third impart back to the Master everything.

A meditation for those wishing my consideration.
Sit in your cell as in paradise.
Put the whole world behind you and forget all.
Watch your thoughts like a good fisherman watching for fish,
for the path you must follow is inside — never leave it.
If you have just come to your Master, and in spite of your good will you cannot accomplish what you want, take every opportunity to sing of your Master in your heart and to understand Him with your mind.
And if your mind wanders as you approach Him, do not give up but hasten back and doubly apply your mind once more.
Realize above all that you are in His presence, and stand there with the attitude of one who stands before the emperor.
Empty yourself completely and sit waiting, content with His grace,
like the chicks that taste nothing and eat nothing but what their mother brings them. |
