Well in the interest of continuing to keep my profile (semi-) up to date, I should note that I have now changed locations to the Waikato where I am currently looking for work.

Probably should note that I am back in New Zealand. Currently trying to get the final few bits of my thesis completed, ready for submission (in a totally different context than that word is usually used on this website!)

Well, just to keep people updated again, I am now in Ireland, have been here for a little over a week, and over 2 months to go!

Well I know i've mentioned my trip overseas in my journal b4, but just thought i'd keep people informed. In just a touch under 3 weeks (at the end of february) I will be heading out of the country for a time for my studies. I'll be off to Ireland where i will be living for the following 2 months. After that i head for a short trip to see some of the main european cities which i haven't been fortunate to visit yet.
I should be back in NZ in mid-May.

Another day, another year. Does it worry anyone else that in just 12 more months we will be passing into another decade...the 10's (and back towards the teens)?
It seems so recently that we were partying like it was 1999!
Could be a big year for me - traveling overseas for 3 months, hopefully finally finishing at university and going to find a real job, and possibly looking for a house of my own.
Who knows where i'll be at the end of it?

Well I haven't said anything in here in a while, so thought I'd add a quick message, and even a couple of new photos...just in case anyone wanted to see.
While I enjoy taking photos, I do try to steer clear of being in them. However I have found a couple of me taken during my journeys last year.
Can anyone guess the locations? :)

Back in the country after my trip away, had a great time but am glad to be home to catch up on some rest.

Well, have been told to update this journal so thought I better :)
Not a lot new is happening to be honest, am plowing ahead at University....it really does seem like a career at the moment, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end lol..
Apart from that, life is pretty much as usual, busy and all, so I guess it's all good :)

well added a couple of photos, one of me is about a yr old....the other is by far the cuter one, am still missing my lovely golden lab, but have realised i am not the sort of person who wants to live without a dog around so have brought another puppy into my life...a lovely siberian husky

Sherpa, July 1991-Aug 3 2005, beloved pet and the puppy in my picture, had to be put down today, old age finally becoming too much for him.....he will be dearly missed

ok, i think ive added a new picture though im not really sure what is up...it should be one with my lil puppy (13 yr old golden labrador)
i do have another one around on my comp without my dog but i will only add that if this one works....and i guess if anyone actually wants to see it
