There are things I know by heart, and there are things that I don't. I am the kind of person who will mistake a fire-fly for the sun, but I understand about coming undone, and I understand about addressing the sky through the trees, and tracing the lines on our palms like the veins of leaves. And I know what makes our core sing.

And, when faced with love, the bird with words for wings beats against our chest, and reminds us that we have always dreamt of this.
