I'm here because somewhere around 30 I realized that hanging out in bars was an utter and complete waste of time--unless you're there for a Guinness on draft. The people I most enjoy as friends or lovers aren't likely to be hanging out at TGI Fridays. Then again, I never did like that place either. LOL

I'm warm, outgoing, thoughtful and sometimes quiet. I may be the life of the party at times but I definitely need my space too. While I've participated in organized BDSM groups, I much prefer to meet people outside that whole scene because it often seems pretentious and make-believe. Update: having attended the recent Dark Odyssey event in our nation's capital, I've changed my mind. SOME events rock! LOL

BDSM is just one facet of my sexuality but it's an important one. I began as a fairly conventional Dom but have recently become much more interested in age play. Notice the word "play"? I have no interest anything illegal. On the other hand, if you're 18 and have a Daddy fantasy...LOL

I set high standards for myself and expect similar effort from anyone I would consider for a relationship. The standard is slightly lower for play partners but life's short, why go slumming? LOL
I have pics and I'll certainly share them with someone I'm considering meeting. Briefly, I'm clean cut and I know how to dress--without being a full-fledged metrosexual. LOL I tend to look more Banana Republic than Brooks Brothers. (For those north of the border who are scratching your heads at "Brooks Brothers", email me and I'll explain.) Personally, I think I look best stark naked and with a thick belt in my hands, but you can be the judge of that.

I'm even tempered but you'll know when you've finally pissed me off. So will the neighbors. I never strike out in anger. I'm much more creative than that and you might WISH I had before I'm through with you.

Update: I have to say I find it really annoying that some people seem to be here only for the attention and not to actually MEET people. If you really need your ego stroked, go find a bar full of drunk frat-boys. If you ARE one of those drunken frat-boys, go away--far, far away. LOL
