Okay, I NEVER write in my journal and my profile is probably a little outdated, BUT something irritated me to the point I felt the need to.  I now think I understand how a lot of the females on this site must feel when dealing with the plethora of idiots that probably contact them. 

I'm not going to out anyone, but someone contacted me (99% sure it's not a bot or a spammer) with a detailed message and I respectfully replied with a fairly detailed message as well.  There was 1 sentence out of a  4-5 paragraph reply that was taken COMPLETELY out of context, and it was quite obvious this individual had absolutely no concept of what I was referring to.

I receive a long "lecture" as a reply attempting to "educate" me, all the while completely twisting, changing, and adding their own words to 1 statement I made, one they clearly did not understand in the first place.

I again write a respectful, well thought out reply to clarify the statement and have an open dialogue about what was clearly a misunderstanding or lack of ability to grasp what I had said; only to find out I had been BLOCKED by someone who reached out to me! WTF!!!

If you do not have the capacity or intelligence to have an exchange of opinions, are the type of person that feels the need to voice their thoughts without the ability or willingness to accept a reply, or are so closed-minded you don't or can't see things in terms other than black and white; we would not be a good match!  IMHO everything is in shades of grey...
