Operant vs classical conditioning. Very interesting. When I first came to terms with D/s and tpe's vs epes, I started training in this manner without knowing, albeit on a very superficial level. In the common tongue I mean training new and inexperienced subs to be bedroom subs. Looking back over the last couple years I'm amazed at where I was vs where I am. I came to kink with an inward gaze so weak. To train another is to train yourself. If I could go back and talk to the younger Dominant, I would say to him:
"There is more to learn always, enjoy your journey and remember that submissives are what attracted you to this life, so take your time with them. They will net you emotional and sexual profits beyond your wildest dreams when handled properly. Most of all, Ad, be true to what you want and be that rock for you, that they need you to be, because without a sub's love, trust, and respect - you are simply another man in line to use them." |
