| I am looking for someone who is confident and comfortable in their own skin, independent, loyal and trustworthy. I would like to be able to enjoy sporting or fitness related activities such as tennis, running or cycling. I am somewhat adventerous and would like to explore new places and experiences with someone. I also love to relax at home with a good bottle of wine, with or without friends, a fire in the fireplace and a movie or book. I enjoy a live concert, more often a local band or new group at a smaller venue and have an eclectic taste in music (no country music - sorry). I can be somewhat reserved upon introduction, it takes me a little while to come out of my shell, but once out, I think that you will find me to be warm, kind, generous and generally fun to be around. I have a few very close friends and prefer that to a large circle of people that I do not have a close connection to. My friends are a very important part of my life, we have shared heartaches, challenges and wonderful times together. My family is also very important to me, and I like to keep in close touch with my siblings (they are in one of the photos). I enjoy a challenge, and I am fairly competitive, will challenge you to a game of chess, ping pong or scrabble on a regular basis. Larger challenges in my life include raising my two boys, running a couple of marathons, helping my stepmom face a cancer diagnosis and treatment. I try to maintain a positive attitude and enjoy every day. I don't sweat over trivial details of life, it is not worth the time or the energy. I hope that I can find a companion with a similar outlook.
