I am getting ready for my move to Jacksonville FL ... I received an offer and have accepted it.  Its kind of exciting.  

I will be working on helicopters again.  Its like a second childhood...lol  I worked on helicopters in the Marines and afterwards I taught maintenance on them in Isfahan Iran for 3 years.  

Whats even more strange  In the Marines I worked on the Bell AH1G and AH1J Cobra Helicopter.   The new job will be monitoring production on the Bell AH1Z Cobra Helicopter Cockpit.   

Lets see it is 20 degrees tonight and snow forecasted...yeah I am ready to go south.

Well its been a strange time.  I have been on call as a group therapist for a  detox and short term residential treatment center.  I was thinking this might be my niche to the future.  A couple days ago I get a call asking if I would be interested in being a group therapist for the VA with soldiers who have substance abuse problems.  I am a disabled vet myself and can relate to some of their issues and enjoy working with vets too.  

I will probably be taking the job, even though I wanted to retire and just travel.  There must have been a reason I set out in classrooms for the last 5 years and got my Masters, I dont think it was to retire.
