I'm not perfect, but I try to be nice to others and treat them as I'd like to be treated.

Some people on here are very rude. You send them a polite email introducing yourself, your hobbies, what you do for a living, what you're looking for, and instead of a polite "no thanks/I don't think we're looking for the same things/You're not my type," you get a "Don't contact me again" or a block without saying a word.

Just because we're on the internet doesn't mean we have to be jerks to each other, does it?
