| Discovering the darkness in ones self is not a light switch that is merely turned on when one desires. It is a journey thru pain, suffering and the loss of humanity so many take for granted. In the beginning most people say to themselves, I want to do good things in this life. This thought leads them down a path of right. Others will be more inclined to do great things. This line of reasoning takes them down a far more arduous path which will bring this person thru lands that do not see the light. These men and women who dare to go beyond the good and evil in this world will discover the greatest triumphs and the most devastating defeats. They are the ones who will really taste life, savoring each hard won bite. Many people have crossed my path, some presented themselves as friends, some as enemies. In the end however each being a miniature allegory of some meaning that I can barely grasp. All that I have to comfort my soul is the darkness' embrace, and the thought that there are still great things left to accomplish.
