have fond memories of travelling in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Australia, Morocco, Guatamala, Ecuador ( i prefer the Lonely Planet third world itinerary to Fodor's).
can converse in 4 languages
have ridden on a bus with pigs, goats, and a guy on the roof with a machine gun
was once chased by four guys with knives, outran them..see above
