About butterflyawaken
Well let's see what can I say about myself? I have a tattoo of binary code that reads "01000100 01000110 01010100 01000010 01000001" so that makes me cooler than the average bear. I'm very much into the creative tech world as this is something that started out as a hobby back in 1998 and over the years has developed into a my actual career.
I work with web development and seo, along with digital graphics, and now even working doing product photography. Outside of my work, I am a poet, who has toured the country 3 times performing at poetry events all over including the National Poetry Slam for several years. I am currently working on my 4 book of poetry and my 3rd CD. Currently starting a new project documenting my journey over the next year called "Finding My Awesome" which will be a media journal type project documenting me working on getting back to what I love doing the most, and that is poetry and activism full-time.
I am very much into political and social discussion, especially when it is focus on LGBT issues, or just human rights for that matter. I'm an old school industrial/goth/punk who no longer looks the part but still hold onto many of the same punk ideals, however over the years I have calmed down a bit and those very same ideals have manifested themselves into much more of a "Yippie" tone, yes Abbie Hoffman is a hero of mine in case you are wondering. Aside from all of that I'm very much of a goofy person who loves to laugh with others. |
