5/13/2013 12:27:37 AM: Dom Com 2013- Tenth Anniversary, was all I expected and MORE.  The efforts of the producers are tremendous.  Much has changed in the years I have been away or as I like to say, 'on hiatus'....     Here are a few  things I noticed:  Pony Play is a more recognized and bigger fetish.   Latex is the new satin and leather for corsets and general fetish clothing.  Very few subs wear white and pink these days, and even some dommes wearing white and pink (latex of course) fetish outfits....  Smiles.  I suppose everything is full circle after a while.  Good to see respect prevails, with the exception of male doms who do not let a lady in the elevator first.... shame.  All men should be gentleman.  No matter their sexual perv identity.   The toys were all the same, sadly.  I saw one vendor from Louisiana  who had awesome Native American toys, (mostly whips like toys and horse hair floggers) that I would have LOVED to get my hands on.  They were unique and generally a new spin and the traditional gear.  Everything else was rather the same as before.  Not a bad thing.  Perhaps the toys makers are perfectionists now???   I did very much like how the convention was NOT just a trade fair or show.  The convention incorporated MANY activities to complete a five day schedule.  There were numerous rooms with many different topics to educate and promote BDSM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!!!  There were demos on stage, open for ALL to see.  There were 'shows' where people can show their skills and get recognized, and lastly a solid trade show.     That was my take on the experience.  One thing that cannot be verbalized was the ego's present.  So thick you could cut it with a single tail....  But of course, this is for DOMINATION, Dominatrixs, Doms, Dominants and the subs/switches/slaves/kinksters who love them.....  Smiles:   DOM CON!!!!
