Due to a recent serious medical diagnosis , I am currently not entertaining any kind of relationship with anyone. The two different auto immune diseases I have are no fun singly , but together they are pretty devastating. Back from being away, last week was dreadful , sad and so long. I feel like I need a vacation. Life goes on and its my birthday on Friday , 34 candles for me , and this year I am apprciating life more than ever having just witnessed a family member lose their life at only 56 yrs old.

What is with the trend lately of photographs of Dominants wearing Ski Masks, Leather masks , and other things that obscure their faces and make them look like terrorists , bank robbers , or other criminal elements? I appreciate wanting anonymity , but making yourself look like a back alley murderer is not the way to woo a woman. Why not just put no photo at all , or just put "Photos available upon request." if you don't want to put a photo up showing your face. There is also photo editing to crop your face out of a pic. Something else I don't understand. In all seriousness folks , if you haven't seen the doctor or clinic for your Influenza Vaccines, please do so. We cannot get the shot in my house because of an Egg allergy. (The vaccine is given in an egg protein medium) My self and my little ones now have Type A Influenza, subtype H1N1. This is no joke , I have been sick since monday and neither myself or my children can move from our beds. PLEASE take care of your health , especially if you have health issues, you are elderly or you have young children in your home. Lets get a few things straight.
1. I work for a Pit Bull Rescue. I do not breed dogs, nor do I profit from what I do , its called RESCUE and I work for a NON PROFIT.
2. I have a problem with ANYONE who abuses animals , Not Just Michael Vick. The reason?
A. Its cruelty to creatures that depend on us humans, we domesticated them , they deserve love and good care.
AND
B. 80% of animal abusers are also abusing their wife, kids, girlfriend , co workers, etc etc. Their abuse extends to the HUMAN RACE AS WELL.
3. I am NOT now nor will I ever be supporter of PETA. Their policy in regards to the dogs I save is that they should be systematically destroyed. KILLED. PETA deems bully breed dogs as unsalvageable , wastes of space, food and air. I will never support a group that on one hand screams if you kill a bug , but wants to exterminate dogs because of their breed.
4. Yes I am a vegetarian , but it has nothing to do with my animal rescue work.
5. I am entitled to say what I want to say on here. I am entitled to be passionate about what I do , and about what I believe in. I have something to believe in , I have a cause, I have something that drives me, which is more than I can say for most people using this site. If you dont stand for something , you will fall for anything.
6. I am seriously sick of people telling me I MUST forgive people for their cruelty. WHY? Why should I forgive them when 99.9 % of the time , they dont think they did anything wrong , they dont think what they did was criminal , and given the opportunity , they WILL DO IT AGAIN , with the same lack of understanding of their crime the first go round.
7. Animals are NOT DISPOSABLE. They are not COMMODITIES. They are living breathing creatures who feel love, attachment, fear, pain , agony and distress. If you choose to have an animal or animals in your home , you are honor bound to love them , feed them , provide them with medical care, toys, affection , safety , and freedomf from cruel , inhumane treatment. If you cant do this , then DONT GET A PET.
8. I am not a racist. I do not give a crap what color you are , if you commit an act of animal cruelty. Race is not something I even think about. If you hurt animals , you could be green with purple and blue spots, and I would be angry at you. My two children are BLACK , therefore the RACE ARGUMENT holds no water. My BLACK CHILDREN are angry with dog fighters and animal abusers too , because their pets all suffered abuse at some dirt bags hands. Fortunately they live with us now in safety and with much love, and they never have to suffer again. I am proud to be raising the next generation of animal rights activists.

I recently made a post about my relocation. I am not moving , because I have a child that needs medical treatment. When that treatment is completed I will revisit moving. Moving has to be put off. Discovered that my house needs major plumbing and electrical repairs so I cannot rent it out until they are completed. Its a setback , but I am glad I found it now rather than AFTER I moved me and my family, it would have been no fun trying to get repairs done from 1000 miles away!

What is with all the pre written , contrived, annoying messages people send? Whatever happened to personal messages to each individual person you are contacting? Form letters make you seem like a fake , a non realist and someone who cant be bothered. It also makes you seem like someone who sends out mass mailings hoping to attract ANYONE, not someone who is right for you. It is particularly annoying to recieve these notes , when the person CLEARLY has not read your profile first. It is aggrivating and annoying. Read peoples profiles, weigh how much you are compatible, then send a message that reflects yourself and shows that you are speaking directly to the person you are messaging , not the masses. It will get you much farther in the long run then those endless mass mailings.
