PTP Mission Statement
Being a newbie is hard. You don’t know who you can trust.
You don’t know who is ‘safe’ for you to be interacting with.
You don’t know who is just out to ‘get some’, and who is real.
Being ‘experienced’, be it for 20 years or 20 months, there is
always something new to learn. Being ‘experienced’ means
that you can bring your experiences to the table for others
to learn by.
The purpose of the Personal Touch Parties (PTP) is to bring
the newbies and the more experienced together in a safe
friendly learning environment.
It is ‘assumed’ by the general newbie community, that to
claim experience, means that you know about everything
that is involved in BDSM. To tell a ‘newbie’ that you don’t
know much about XXX, is to cast a pall on your claim to
‘experience’, as far as the newbie is concerned.
The PTP are for both the newbie and the experienced to
learn, laugh, teach, share all while having a grand ole time.
Formalities are dropped for most of the parties, though
depending on the ‘theme’, formalities may be the order
of the day.
There are some that have to ‘protect’ their identities from
the general public. The PTP allows those individuals
to do so in relative confidence that identities are kept to
the members of the PTP group. If members want to
talk about their experience, they may certainly do so,
but are not to identify anyone attending the PTP. The
PTP yahoo group is set up so you may talk with
freedom knowing that what is said in the group, stays
with the group.
The attempt is made to ‘balance’ the attendees. A certain
ratio of Doms to subs, male to female, is necessary, so
not everyone will be able to attend. An attempt is also
made for ‘like’ personalities. It is always asked if there
is anyone that you would rather not attend with, which
could mean you can’t attend, if that other person has
already been accepted.
Donations are asked for, but certainly not a criteria for
attendance, at the end of the party. You decide what
the party meant to you, and how valuable that
information/experience was.
It is hoped that the play party that follows the
‘instruction’ portion, will allow the new skills learned
to be tried out in a private, safe and monitored
environment. It is also hoped that all will get a
chance to either Top or bottom, as they choose.
After the PTP, a journal is required of the submissives
within 48 hours, detailing the party, the topics, the
instruction, the food, the after dinner play party, and
even the individuals attending. A critique is requested
of the Dominants, stating the same. These are to be
sent to MiLadyAce at hotmail com, as soon after the
party as possible. This is so that personalities don’t
conflict at future parties, that teaching went as hoped,
the arrangement was a success. The journals and
critiques are not for public knowledge, though if you
would like to edit your journal/critique, you may
certainly post it to the PTP group.. As long as names
are taken out and nothing ‘personal’ (as in attack) is said.
As for future parties, those who have attended prior
are given preference, IF they fit that particular party
guidelines. This does not mean that someone will
be bumped because a prior PTP attendant wants to
come at the last minute. It just means that when I
have a good group of people wanting to attend,
that prior attendees will get first slots, if they fill the
‘need‘. The ONLY person that knows who gets along
with whom is Lady Ace. Your personal preferences
are not shared with the group.
If a newbie to the PTP wants to attend, Lady Ace
will HAVE to meet with them privately prior to
the party date before they can be considered.

In August the PTP (Personal touch Parties) will be having a teaching party/Dom Auction.
Date: August 16 , 2008
Time: 2:00pm to ????? (currently, possibly change a little)
Where: Lake Lanier area, to be disclosed in private invitation only.
Currently have room for the following:
Doms: 3
Domme's: 2
Male subs: 5
Female subs: 3
Service submissive: 1
DM: 1
These numbers include experienced and novice. The PTP works hard at ensuring a good 'count' with matching personalities. If you are on the party list to come, you must make that a high priority to attend, as replacements at the last minute are not always available. You must commit for the hours of 2pm thru 9pm, at least.
The schedule is: (subject to change)
*Arrive/park/unload
*Ice breakers (are actually a LOT of fun!)
*Demo's - so far, primarily impact play, "How to negotiate a scene"
*Dom auction - The submissives will bid for the Dominant they want to play with for an hour
*Dinner, Discussions and negotiations
*Dom auction play for an hour
*Open play for the rest of the evening
At the conclusion of the evening, the Dominants will be asked to donate to the kitty as the submissives will already have done so with their bidding. Money collected will go into our 1763 party fund.
Dom and sub alike are asked to submit a critique within 48 hours after the party.

Questions received:
"this sounds like a great idea for one who doesn't get much experience because of the need for professional discretion."
That is what started the PTP's. A member wanted a place to play with discrete guests.
We became a learning group with the second party.
"How does one get invited to attend?"
Lady Ace must personally meet with all prospective members. She'll discuss the rules and the premise of the parties at that time.
"What general area of the state or city do they meet?"
LA is in north Atlanta. The parties are at individual private homes, mostly. So far we have been north of Atlanta, but could change that for any given party.
"How often do you have these PTP's?"
They are not scheduled, but occur as we have a 'need', the proper number of attenders, and a location has been offerred. We have averaged about one every 6 to 8 weeks.
