The following is my view of this life as experienced over many years.
A submissive or a slave is primarily a servant. The difference between the two is primarily one of trust. The slave trusts the owner completely. The submissive trusts the master up to a point. A slave or submissive cares for the master's needs whether they are sexual or non-sexual. Because the primary function of the slave or submissive is to perform any task required of them, the master can be of either or no gender and may be straight or from anywhere in the LGBTQ spectrum. Cooking, cleaning, doing washing, shopping, making travel arrangements and performing secretarial tasks are a few examples of non-sexual activities. I would hope that the reader is aware of what sexual tasks might be. Then there are BDSM flavors that can modify the tasks mentioned above and which may or may not be employed.
