I am mostly new to the BDSM scene but I have been interested in learning for quite a while. I am a big fan of spanking my sub, I think it would be a fun addition to a relationship, a nice bit of spice. When it comes to domination I believe in gentle domination. A Dom does not need to scream or shout or belittle and insult the sub or slave. A good Dom learns his subslaves limits and what pushes them one way or the other, he guides her, he makes orders and demands but he also listens and talks with her they build a foundation to have a relationship on. A Ds relationship is still a relationship, it still needs trust, it is just that the dynamics and expression of said relationship is a bit different to vanilla. Sure if the subslave likes humilation a Dom can play with that, if they like torture they play with that but it is not malicous that is the key.
