We are a complex amalgamation of organic chemicals working together to survive. When our function ceases, those chemicals lose the ability to continue the cycle we know as life and fall apart through decay.

You are little more than an overgrownmass of cells.
Everything you think makes you special of unique is just a product of those cells communicating to each other in efforts to continue functioning for as long as they can.
