To Freak4BDSM: There is something wrong with you. Sending me hate mail, then looking me up on Fetlife and sending my friends there hate mail and lies. You need help. I've posted your pic everywhere so people know to stay away from you. I put messages out in all the local fetlife groups linking your fet profile and warning people away from you. Get help before you snap and go off the deep end. Go to FetLife.com It's a much better way to connect with people and I have yet to come across any scammers on that site after 3 years being on it. Makes ya wonder why it's so bad here. Both are free sites. This one is designed poorly. It's within the capabilities of CollarSpace to take measures to permanently ban scammers if they ban Mac Addresses and IP addresses when banning a user. Judging from my experience with customer service, I question whether or not they even bother to ban users that have been reported as scammers. I've reported several such users myself and they seem to continue to peruse the site unhindered. I even sent them a link showing a phone number that a member gave me is associated with a known scammer named Michael Laird and the profile is still up on the site. I checked the number out before I called it or did anything that would let him have my number. Use Caller ID block until you're sure you're calling or texting a legitimate phone number. Common mistakes dumb and untalented scammers use. (That's most of them by the way.) Right click any pic that might be questionable and select "search Google for this image". That will show you where they DLed a pic from. Creative picture cropping can sometimes fool the Google pic search so be careful. Look in the "Actively seeking" section. If they are looking for men, women, trans, dom, sub, slave, ie they have checked every available box in the category, they are trying to advertise to everyone on the site. Why would anyone want to do that? Well, they might be a scammer. Look for over the top fetishes, indications that they have no limits, pretty much anything that's unrealistic. If you talk to them and they fail to address things you said, then go on to tell their sob story make and you feel sorry for them, it's probably a form letter. Their goal is to send signals, play on empathy, and prepare you mentally and emotionally to give them money when they ask for it later. They might be a scammer.
