I'm a combat veteran, and ARMY values will always be part of my life. I left the military about three years ago and have since finished an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology. I'm now working as an Electrician/Maintenance Tech at Wings Stadium, which I'm really enjoying. My time in the Army has taught me a lot of things about who I am, what I can do if I try, and what I want out of life. The biggest lesson is that life is too short for negativity. We don't get enough time to waste it. I want to smile and laugh, and make someone else smile and laugh. I want to hold hands while on a stroll. I want to cuddle and watch a movie. I want to wake up next to someone every morning and smile before I kiss them on the cheek and make the coffee. I want a life with someone who really gets me, and I really get them and it's just nice and sweet and loving. In my spare time I like working in the garden, hiking, camping, and going to the beach. In the summer I'm always outdoors doing something. I recently acquired some backpacking gear and I'm hoping to try it out this summer. I'm also really good with my hands, and spend time building or fixing things. I'm working on a greenhouse at the moment. In the evenings or on rainy days I love to read. I'm not picky about the genre as long as it's well written. I just finished "This Book is Full of Spiders" by David Wong, and it was great. A few of my favorite authors include Dean Koontz. Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahniuk, Clive Barker, and Jacqueline Carey. I love a good discussion on almost any topic, especially if it's new to me so I can learn some new fun facts. However, I almost never argue. When a discussion starts turning to an argument I change the subject. No one wins an argument, and life is too short to for that negativity. So a few more quick facts about me: I'm sure of myself but not arrogant. I'm awesome but not perfect. I'm cynical but respectful. I'm sarcastic but in a funny way. I'm not conceited, I'm convinced. I swear like a sailor, and if you meet my mother you'll know where I got it from. I'm chivalrous, but not chauvinistic. I'm my own biggest fan even though I'm flawed. These little blips of our lives don't ever do anyone justice. I'm really funny, and I love to laugh and make others laugh, but that is hard to convey in a little box. I'm a really nice guy and I treat my friends/partners really well. If I care for you then I'm always there for you, no questions asked. I've had a lot of living and I've seen and done a lot. Most good, but some not so good. I wouldn't want anyone to judge me now for who I was, so I'm not going to judge anyone for their past. It's our present actions that define us, and we show who we are every day. My every day involves working hard, keeping busy, and being awesome. It would be great to have someone to share my life with. So if you made it through all that and I sound like someone you'd like to know better, I promise you won't be disappointed. Usually people either love me or hate me, but they all agree that I'm entertaining. It's not always easy for the guys on these sites, so message me first and I'll do my best to captivate you. Now that I have a degree and a job, all my effort is going in to finding the someone that wants to make a life together. I'm definitely open to the idea of relocating for the right person/relationship. I have a lot of experience in Building Maintenance and Electrical work so finding a job anywhere won't be a problem. To me having someone to share my life with is more important than staying in the same small town I've always lived in. I'm ready for a change.
