People keep talking about this "vanilla" life and a "bdsm" life, I dont understand it. People listen up......there is only LIFE. Just as there is no "normal" people. Stop trying to seperate your life into categories, into nice easily defined boxes, it doesn't work. Life is just life, always expanding, never-ending, and always undefinable. The people that want to define it are the ones that say they have control over you, or have power, in which they don't. It's a system of control, to keep people down and to keep people discriminating against each other.
The term "vanilla" only came up a few years ago when the bdsm lifestyle started catching on and becoming popular. People wanted to still feel "normal" when they went out into public, they didnt want to become "one of those" people. Thats why people use the phrase "bedroom activities" or "behind close doors" so they can still call themselves normal and still be able to hob nob with their friends.
