OK... so I don't update this as frequently as I should... that's a given (ok, as obviously pointed out by someone far more observant than I). There are some things I will never understand, 1) how it is that some people become instantly possessive and jealous when there has been no commitment on either side 2) Why friends, can't just be friends and be happy with that. Thank you Neyesa for not falling in to either catagory! I had a few people that I was talking to on a "friendly basis", a couple of those people decided to wig out completely when they heard that I had someone I felt I was making a connection with.... and it wasn't them..... Neyesa I am sooooo thankful for your friendship and the fact that you "get it". Booya-ka-sha to you! (that's a good thing) :) Missed talking to you tonight... hope to see you on tomorrow :)

OK... I'm evidently not keeping up with the ole journal here as someone has kindly pointed out for me (smile) . I think since moving here I have been sick more than I have been in the past five years! The constant weather change is working against me it seems. I am hoping that this decides to quit soon :P I have really found people here (the site) to be very friendly overall and have really helped me to get myself acclimated to the area. I have really enjoyed talking to one in particular who likes to keep me on my toes. (wink) You are never sure about a person until you meet them, but friends are a welcome addition any time. (my southerness coming through here) Ya'll be good to each other, and have a great week!

No worse feeling than getting sick for no apparrent reason. Woke up this morning and that lingering migrane has now turned to a sore throat as well. But at least that gives me the excuse to stretch out... open the windows... let the air in... and call in sick to work!.... Maybe it's not such a bad thing after all.... Not sure if the weekend hiatus actually relaxed me, or just worked towards a complete state of veggitation. I did absolutely SQUAT this past weekend... whoo hoo... a complete reprieve from all technology... no internet, no phone, no getting bugged every two minutes by work. It was pretty spendiferous. The only thing lacking was a nice back rub which was sorely missed........ For those of you I know and the others I don't....have a great week!

Sitting back and relaxing tonight.... an occupation that I think some people need to take more time and investment in. While I have been able to talk to a couple really cool (laid back) people on here.... I am finding that there are some who just take things wayyyyy too seriously. From obscure, almost bizaar and undecipherable e-mails, to some desire for me to play some sort of "Role" in just my coorespondence with them. I am a pretty normal person, laid back, and enjoying life. I feel that dominance (for me) is something that is natural... it's not something that has to be "played" to be realized. I don't require the formalities, I am happy with who I am and where I'm at in life. Hoping to find someone else who can "relax" and take things as they come. I'd like to get to know someone before "play" ever came in to things, and even then... it's not a role that I just slip in to when I'm intimate..... I'm happy to hear from anyone who understands that :)

The more I learn about this area, the better I am feeling. I was about to find a couple of local groups here. BR which is very active and has a lot that goes on every month. Several socials, and seem to have their act together. I am hoping to meet some people soon. Sure know it would make me a bit happier to have some people to hang around with rather than sitting on my butt. Well...other than going to the gym anyway. well... Have a great nite all!

Ok... had a pretty good day today. I am learning more and more about this area every day. I was introduced to a couple of really good resources here in the DC are for meeting some new people. I also set up a group on Yahoo to hopefully find some people who are in to this lifestyle as well to get together with. It's always good to make new friends, especially when you're in new places. I finally got some e-mail today on here as well (see... good day all around) Hope everyone is doing well, and having fun. Drop me a line if you're bored outta ya mind...lol

Hmmm........ Day 7 and still no mail :( I would love to hear from somebody... I'm new to the DC area and from what I've found it's a pretty closed lipped area. I'm finding it hard to find some new friends in the area with similar interests. Would love to just find some people to "Hang out" with and learn about the area. Don't let the name scare ya.... yeah... I'm a freak... but I'm a fun freak :)
