I am creative and intelligent and prefer people in my life to be open minded. I am well read and articulate. I am a quietly intense and passionate person. I enjoy good conversations and intimate gatherings. I prefer silence to small talk myself, but if you’re feeling chatty I will listen.
I am wary of labels and find over reliance on them mentally oppressive as they often lead to over generalization and short circuit thinking and understanding. Having said that, it one would be hard pressed to describe themselves on a site such as this without employing a few, so at the risk of contradiction and with that warning, here goes:
I am naturally a dominant person. If you’re looking for a "comic book" dom... I'm not your man. I am a real person that lives in the real world, escaping periodically for fun... and it’s OK for you to be a real person too.
I don’t begrudge people having their aesthetic preferences, but find the enumeration of such rather vulgar and too potentially excluding of discovering beauty in an unexpected place. There are so many different ways that a person can be beautiful and most of the best ways are beyond physical.
I am ultimately looking for a long term serious commitment, but willing to meet others along that journey.
I don’t need a bevy of women, to put on airs, or put anything on display to placate a week ego.
I am just looking for one quality relationship with a woman who will follow my lead. And … I’m secure enough to let her lead if she wants to as well.
I don’t want a doormat. You should be capable of giving and receiving affection in the context of a mature relationship.
