Hi,
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 39 year old, white male with a shaved head and what have been called piercing blue eyes. I'm 5'9" tall, 165 lbs, and have an athletic build. I grew up in Rockford, but moved to Chicago after college. I moved to New Hampshire ten years ago, and returned last summer.
My interests include just about everything. I'm just happy to be alive!. I'm an avid skier - probably less so now that I've returned to Illinois. I love the outdoors... sports, hiking, camping, a picnic in the park, you name it. I'm a romantic at heart, but not always in practice. I love thunderstorms and am still awed by nature.
I like to think of myself as a caring, giving person. I like to do volunteer work for the community. I worked for Habit for Humanity while living out east, and would love to do it again in the Chicago area once I'm settled in. I feel that it's good to give back a little, and it keeps me grounded.
I'm a big baseball fan. I'm a musician, so music is a huge part of my life. I like almost all music, but lately my tastes tend to run to classic rock and almost anything recorded in the eighties. The alternative stuff is the best.
I'm big into history and you would more often than not find me watching the Discovery channel rather than a sitcom(except when the White Sox are playing). I love to read, but rarely find the time. There's just too much to do in life. I'm good with my hands. In my grandfather's words, I'm a jack of all trades, but master of none.
I'm a Network Security Analyst by trade, and yes that does make me a bit of a computer geek, but you wouldn't know it by meeting me.
I love being back in the city. I've really missed all the hustle and bustle. As you can see by my screen name, I've missed the Chicago White Sox.
On the outside, I'm about as vanilla as they come. No one would ever suspect the kinky side that lurks below. I've been into D&S since I can remember.
I'm far from perfect. There's definitely no halo hovering over this head. One thing I can tell you is that I'm open and honest. What you see is what you get. I don't play games, manipulate people, or tolerate others who do. Good friends are too hard to come by. I'm mainly looking to make new friends in the Chicago area.
