I've been kind of down this week. A very close friend of mine when growing up has died. One minute he was alive the next dead. Had a heart attack and they couldn't save him. He was buried yesterday.
So far today is cloudy and looks like rain. Doesn't help my mood. I like sunshine.
Also have a cousin in the hospital. He has had surgery for cancer and isn't doing good. He came home for almost 3 days before they had to take him back. Doesn't look good but still praying that he'll be alright.
Other than that, same ole same ole. |

It's been awhile since I've written anything. Sure was glad to see the sun out.
Christmas was hectic as usual but was good. Saw most of the whole family.
New Year's Eve found us at the Club to welcome the new year in. We left shortly after midnight because Randy had to be at work early the next day. Had a good time and saw some that we met at HPG parties. I doubt that they saw or knew us for I think we only met them once.
Had our black-eye peas and cabbage, why, I don't know. So far it hasn't worked well for us for we still don't have money and as for health, I'm always having some sort of trouble with mine.
Hope everyone has a good new year. I have promised to try to place my dad in a home soon since he is getting so bad. Of course once he is in one we will be able to be a little freer of our time. But that's not why I'm putting him into a home. Careing for him is pulling down my health even farther. |

One more day closer to Christmas. Have you been naughty or nice?
Last night my husband and I joined in with friends at the Club for a Christmas dinner with friends that we have made there. All the food was good but we had to leave early because my husband had to work this morning. They will be having a New Year's Eve party there too. Unless something comes up better to do I will probably go. |

The sun is shining. The first in about 2 weeks. I am one that really hates cloudy, rainy days. It depresses me but the sun shining beings me joy. I knew we need the rain but my body needs the sun.
It's just days before Christmas and I wish everyone a happy one. Hope all your wishes comes true. My wish is for peace and that our soldiers could come home to their loved ones. Please remember them.
Been having some health problems but hope that it is getting better. Hate to be sick and down when there is so much to do.
Met a very nice man a week ago for the first time. We have been talking through e-mails and it was nice to put a face with the words. Not sure where it will go but am willing to see. |
