I've realized that being a submissive ultimately isn't about what I thought or wanted. I can't and won't do anything that isn't a reflection of my Dom. It's about my complete obedience. I've learned over time that it is about allowing myself to surrender my needs, wants, desires, and control of self to my Dom, entrusting my welfare in the hands of my Dom. I, as a submissive, want to kneel and sit at the feet of my Dom, until instructed to do otherwise, as is my hopes for any future submissive that may join us. I, as a submissive, also seek discipline, structure, rules, and complete authority over me as I need to broken of my ways and be only that of what my Master molds me to be. I want to figure out my personal motivators (rewards) and what I consider punishment (negative reinforcement). I want to learn what my hard and soft limits are. I ask consistency from my Dom to mold me into all that he expects of and from me. I want my Dom to be proud of me as he watches me grow and learn all that he has to teach and offer me. I want to know my place as a submissive, and I would expect any submissive that comes to us to learn and know her place. Choosing to obey, knowing that I don't have to is my sole choice to make, but rather I ask you to handle my ups and downs, I need you to take the lead and make decisions that are best for me, instead of giving into what I think, want, or demand. Submission is something I choose to give. I want to be, how I see myself. It is not just about pleasing you, my Dom, it is also about pleasing myself, pushing myself to the limits, and going out of my way and taking it one step closer to fulfillment. I make myself available to learn from you, the person that touches my life in so many ways.

To me, the sense of breaking a submissive is taking someone you care for, breaking their spirit, their personality, and reducing them down to nothing more than a blank canvas so that you, my Dom, can imprint your wishes, desires, thoughts, influences, and actions on. I'm a painting in progress waiting to come alive to the eye. Helping myself veil after veil  to find inner joy and balance that comes from knowing that with each veil removed, each boundary crossed, I become more of who I already am. In everything I do I see myself through your eyes who and what you want me to be. I am a creation in the making and I know that it is a process. I know in time that I will become the picture on the canvas oiled into all the beauty that I possess.
